We had a great day today dressing up as our favourite book characters; sharing extracts and discussing what we all love about reading.  As you will see from the photos, our children had an entertaining day and were able to share some good reading tips and suggested book titles to their friends.

We had a number of children who read their favourite sections of their books to the whole school; Daniel, Juno, Broedy, Rosie, Henry, Leighton, Evie T and Thea.   Well done to them for their confidence.

We also had a visit from Bilbo Baggins (A.K.A Mr Gurney) who shared his favourite book ‘The Hobbit’ with the school.

Also, well done to parents for helping with costumes.
