East Anstey Bake Off – 8th March 2019

This term our school council, along with all the children at East Anstey school, have decided to hold an East Anstey Bake off.  This is a baking competition for all children to enter, if they so wish.  The theme is Spring with the added challenge of including a baby animal within the design.

Children can make cupcakes; large cakes; rainbow cakes; anything which inspires their imagination for baking.

All entries to be brought in to school on Friday 8th March for judging.  There will be an Easter themed prize for the winning entry.  All cakes will then be divided and sold during playtime to the children for a small cost.

Also, during lunchtime our school council will be running a variety of games (to burn off the calories from playtime) which will be run for a small fee.  Your child only needs small change to be able to take part in these.

All monies raised will go towards the school council treasury fund.  This will then be used to purchase items, which the children have suggested through council meetings and school assemblies.  There are a variety of resources the children would like to purchase to help improve the school grounds ranging from new football goals to developing the outside area with tables and umbrellas.

Our school council continue to work hard to make sure the children’s voice is heard and ideas are put into motion so we appreciate your support in helping these activities to take place.
