Science Photographic competition

Thank you to all the children who took part in our scientific photographic competition based on Forces.  We had some excellent entries with some very enthusiastic children asking questions about forces in the lead up to the deadline.  All entries were judged and three winners have been chosen.

In third place with a fantastic photograph of gravity’s effects on her flipped pancake was Evie B.  We loved all the photos you took Evie of your pancake making session but in particular liked the blurred action shot of it landing in the pan.  Well done Evie.

In second place with another action shot was Jolly.  You look like you enjoy your trampoline and we liked the way you captured your descent.  Well done Jolly.

In first place, with a joint entry from Juno and Sofia was the effect of magnetism on iron filings.  We really loved the close up shot you took and the hidden spring too.  Well done girls.

All entries have been posted below for your enjoyment so please have a look.

Prizes have been ordered and will be handed out in assembly at the end of the year.

Well done everyone, may the ‘force’ be with you.

Mrs Scandrett
